An agonizing standoff between Hollywood and Wall Street just got even longer.
The decision about whether to allow the creation of an exchange where investors could bet on boxoffice sales got pushed to April 16.
It’s the third time the Commodities Futures Trading Commission has delayed its decision on the Trend Exchange, which, if approved, could be followed by a similar trading platform by brokerage firm Cantor Fitzgerald.
