Some of the biggest faces in finance were on full display Monday at the UJA-Federation’s annual Wall Street dinner honoring Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick and Tiger Global Management partner Lee Fixel.
“I thought [the event] was incredible. I thought it was impactful. I’m always happy to brag about my brother,” Lutnick’s sister, Edie, told The Post.
The charity dinner, held at the Midtown Hilton, raised $29 million — beating last year’s total by a cool million.
Hedgies new and old including Och-Ziff’s Daniel Och, Tiger’s Chase Coleman, Paulson & Co.’s John Paulson and Margate Capital’s Samantha Greenberg sat on the multitiered dais to fawn over Lutnick and Fixel. Former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin also paid tribute.
“Howard — Just think of this as an adult bar mitzvah,” Paulson joked while introducing Lutnick.
Three hundred of the event’s 2,000 attendees were Cantor Fitzgerald employees.
“You’re an extraordinary leader with a passion for excellence,” Cantor colleague Sage Kelly — and UJA diamond-level supporter — wrote in the event’s tribute book.
