New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has issued a fresh subpoena requesting records from Steven Rattner’s former hedge fund, Quadrangle Group.
The attorney general is asking Rattner’s firm to hand over information related to the Quadrangle founder’s pay and any money he received when he departed, sources tell The Post.
The request is part of an ongoing probe by Cuomo into Rattner’s role in offering pension managers, including former New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi, kickbacks in exchange for investing in Quandrangle’s funds.
News of a new subpoena comes after Rattner rejected a $20 million settlement last month.
The new information is likely to factor into how much money will be disgorged from the former car czar, sources say.
A spokesman at Cuomo’s office declined to comment.
