NYSE Euronext yesterday suspended trading in more than 200 stocks on the New York Stock Exchange due to a technical problem with a server, though the stocks in question were still trading actively on other markets.

There will be no closing auctions in the affected stocks, and a list of the official closing prices for the securities, based on the consolidated last sale, will be distributed via e-mail and NYSE’s website, the exchange operator said.
