Goldman Sachs Chairman and CEO Lloyd Blankfein may, in fact, be immortal.

Blankfein hosted the annual Goldman alumni holiday celebration for those now running the universe from other quarters, mostly Washington.

A source tells On the Money that Blankfein told attendees he’d recently been to the doctor, but he was his usual jovial self, mingling with guests, leaving the feeling that all is going well.

In September, Blankfein revealed he had lymphoma, a treatable form of cancer, and has since been receiving chemotherapy treatments.

Blankfein told guests that he would continue running Goldman Sachs for a long time to come or as long as he is healthy.

Goldman had no comment.
