Groupon’s Andrew Mason is losing face over a deal gone bad in Japan, as Japanese Web sites let the online phenom have it over a meal that left many customers unsatisfied after spending 10,500 yen ($127 US). The meal supplier’s boss resigned in shame, while Mason publicly apologized and resorted to refunds and vouchers.
