Actor Harvey Keitel is suing E*Trade, saying the online stock-trade company hired him to do three commercials for $1.5 million — but then fired him.
The “Pulp Fiction” star signed on to the ad campaign on Jan. 28, 2014, after fellow actor Christopher Walken — who also had a memorable role in the 1994 Quentin Tarantino flick — twice passed on the deal, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court suit filed Monday.
But a day after they inked the deal, Keitel’s talent agency received word that E*Trade was “moving in a different direction” and canned the star.
“Without any justification or excuse, E*Trade refused to proceed forward with the contract entered into with Mr. Keitel,” the suit says.
E*Trade offered Keitel, 76, a $150,000 “kill fee” which he rejected, court papers say.
Two months later, E*Trade rolled out a series of commercials that featured “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey.
An E*Trade rep didn’t respond to requests for comment.
