Hearst Corp. agreed to acquire Internet-marketing firm iCrossing Inc. to gain the company’s Web-search and digital-advertising capabilities.
Hearst expects to close on the transaction within 30 days, Paul Luthringer, a spokesman for closely held Hearst in New York, said in an e-mail. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based iCrossing’s clients include Coca-Cola Co., Office Depot Inc. and Hyundai Motor Co., according to the company’s Web site.
