LOS ANGELES — The Easter bunny hopped into the top spot at the weekend box office.
Russell Brand’s family comedy, “Hop,” debuted at No. 1 with $38.1 million.
Rounding put the top five were “Source Code,” debuting at No. 2 with $15.1 million; “Insidious,” opening at No. 3 with $13.5 million; “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules,” No. 4 with $10.2 million; and “Limitless,” with $9.4 million.
