Hormel Foods Corp., the second-largest US turkey processor and the maker of Spam luncheon meat, said fiscal second-quarter profit rose 3.6 percent as falling feed costs boosted earnings at its turkey unit.
Net income climbed to $80.4 million, or 59 cents a share, in the three months through April 26, Austin, Minn.-based Hormel said.
