Bankrupt Hostess Brands’ biggest union will ask workers to vote on a cost-cutting plan that could decide the fate of the Twinkies maker.

The Teamsters is taking what is described as the company’s “final” offer to its members but is stopping short of recommending the pact.

The union will allow workers to decide whether to accept wage and benefits reductions that Hostess has said are necessary.

“We are reaching out to local unions and coordinating with them to set up membership meetings in the coming weeks,” according to the website for the Teamsters, which represents 8,500 Hostess workers.

The Post reported exclusively on Aug. 8 that Hostess’ creditors and its biggest union were close to a deal that would save the company.
