Readers: Access-A-Ride reportedly made some changes lately, but the MTA-run transportation system for the elderly and disabled is refusing to tell me what they all are. And I’ve been asking for weeks.
So, if you are a customer, let me know if you’ve noticed any differences lately. Specifically, are you still able to call to book a return trip when you are ready, or do you have to schedule the ride to and from your destination ahead of time?
And if you miss a scheduled ride — say, because a doctor’s appointment runs late — is Access-A-Ride threatening to cut off your privileges? I’d like to hear from you.
Thanks.
