IPO to fly if AIG deal off
American International Group is carrying on with plans for a possible initial public offering of its plane-leasing unit if an agreement to sell the business to Chinese investors collapses.
AIG’s International Lease Finance issued an updated filing yesterday with financial results through June 30 and information on the company’s plane fleet. AIG’s effort to sell the business has been delayed as the buyers fail to complete the deal.
