Get ready for shakes, slides and rolls.

Slide, opening on Bleecker Street, bills itself as a restaurant and bar that specializes in sliders, shakes and cannoli.

The novel concept comes from Brooklyn-based Madison Cowan, a British-born restaurateur and winner of “Chopped” and “Iron Chef” contests.

This is Cowan’s first New York restaurant, owned by Alex and Leo Baskin, Robert Meller and Nick Mesce, with Cowan as consulting chef.

Slide officially opens today at 174 Bleecker St.

The 1,800-square-foot space seats 50 in the dining room and eight at the bar. In warm weather, there’s also an 18-seat backyard garden.

The sliders include items like pork belly, fried chicken with cheddar waffles, fried brussels sprouts, smoked duck, ostrich and wild boar.

Boozy and nonalcoholic ice cream shakes are also on the menu along with cannolis by Anthony Fontana, co-founder of the Stuffed Artisan Cannoli brand.

Prices will stick to the informal nature of the restaurant: $15 to $20 for an order of three sliders, $7 to $11 for shakes, $6 to $7 for cannoli, with three in one order, and $12 cocktails.

The sixth annual Whole Foods Market’s New Taste of the Upper West Side, which draws top chefs from more than 80 UWS restaurants, will be held this year from May 29 through June 1.

The events, hosted by the Travel Channel’s Adam Richman and “Top Chef” judge Gail Simmons, raises funds for “Wellness in Schools” programs and streetscape projects for the Columbus Avenue Business Improvement District. This year the nonprofit is giving $80,000 to help beautify a Columbus Avenue block from West 76th Street to West 77th Street, said event chairman Don Evans.
