Marvel superhero sequel “Iron Man 2” rocketed past last week’s box-office leader, the remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
“Iron Man 2,” starring Robert Downey Jr., earned $133.6 million on its opening weekend.
“Elm Street,” with a mere $9.1 million, plunged to second.
DreamWorks Animation’s “How to Train Your Dragon,” with $6.7 million, was third.
