The majority of user reports concerned issues related to the Spotify app, though some also reported glitches on the website.

“Spotify experienced an outage today beginning around 6:20 a.m. EDT,” a Spotify spokesperson told The Post in a statement. “As of 11:45 a.m. EDT, Spotify is back up and functioning normally.”

The company said it will continue to post updates to its SpotifyStatus account on X.

Frustrated users complained about repeated outages on Spotify, with some vowing to switch platforms.

“Literally just downloaded SoundCloud as compensation,” one user wrote on the DownDetector site. “Good option even with ads, I need my music in some sort of form if Spotify can’t provide anymore.”
