Home entertainment firm Netflix jumped the most in a month on its online viewing numbers.
Netflix, based in Los Gatos, Calif., increased 11 percent, or $8.21, to $80.45, the biggest gain among S&P 500 members.
Users of the online movie and TV-streaming service watched more than 2 billion hours of content in the last three months of 2011, Netflix said.
The number exceeded the 1.2 billion-hour estimate of Rich Greenfield, an analyst with BTIG LLC.
