There are a million things Jamie Dimon hasn’t done, but will Treasury secretary be one?

Speculation reached a fever pitch on Wednesday that Dimon, the powerful chief executive of JPMorgan Chase, would join the Trump administration cabinet as the nation’s 77th Treasury secretary.

“Hearing @jpmorgan ceo jamie Dimon will get treasury secy job. Big meeting tomorrow,” Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo tweeted.

The tweet sent the bank’s stock down to $76.88 before ticking up, to $77.40, a 2.5 percent decline.

Dimon’s name was floated last week as being on Trump’s short list for the job.

After Wednesday’s rumor, a source familiar with the Trump-Dimon discussion played down the likelihood of Dimon heading up Treasury, a job first occupied by Alexander Hamilton, founder of The Post.

A bank spokesman declined to comment. Dimon, who is in Argentina, has said that he’s not interested in the job.
