Music-industry wags are already taking bets on how long music impresario, Jimmy Iovine will stay at Apple now that he’s sold Beats Electronics to the company for $3 billion.

“How long will he work for music boss Eddy Cue? He’ll be there a year, that’s the over/under,” said one music executive.

Iovine and Dr. Dre were celebrating last week, but folks are wondering what happened to Trent Reznor, the Nine Inch Nails member who was named chief creative officer. Some believe he exited before the big payday.
