A federal judge refused to block Zale Corp. yesterday from using an advertising campaign that touts the superior brightness of its diamonds, over the objections of a rival jewelry chain, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Sterling Jewelers filed a suit in 2012 accusing Zale of false advertising. It claimed its own diamonds are as glittery as those sold in Zale’s.
