Talk show frenemies Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa are taking their fight outside — to a retail store near you.
As Strahan moves to ABC’s “Good Morning America” from “Live With Kelly and Michael” and the two get to see how well they fare apart, both will also be competing for shoppers’ dollars.
Ripa on April 20 unveiled a line of Kelly Ripa branded bedding, rugs and couches at Macy’s. A Ripa Ampton sectional will run you about $7,300.
Strahan, who has had his Collection by Michael Strahan line of affordable suits and separates at JCPenney since the fall, on Thursday announced the addition of a line of activewear.
That will debut on May 21.
MSX by Michael Strahan — including T-shirts, polos and jogger pants from $12.99 to $25.99 — promises that it will be “changing the rules” on what you can wear and where you can wear it.
Some items will feature “auto-locking zippers” — which may or may not be a good thing.
Already, Strahan seems to be winning the retail battle — although neither appeared to be ringing the cash registers too loudly.
On Penney’s website on Thursday, Strahan’s $260 suit jackets and $120 pants were marked down 50 percent.
But Ripa’s 10-piece comforter sets were on sale and marked down 55 percent.
