It’s been a grim last couple of weeks to work for Ralph Lauren.

Last week, the fashion house said it would close its Fifth Avenue flagship store on April 15 and that an undisclosed number of corporate jobs would be eliminated as well.

This week, the company disclosed in a government filing that the store closure will put 125 employees out of work. Another 64 jobs in its e-commerce division at 601 W. 26th St. are getting cut, and eight jobs will be eliminated at its corporate offices at 625 Madison Ave.

The job cuts are part of the previously announced layoffs, a spokesman said.

The store closure and the layoffs are expected to save Ralph Lauren $140 million in addition to the $180 million to $220 million the company said it would save last year when it closed 50 stores and lopped off 1,000 jobs.
