Hoteliers Richard Born and Sean MacPherson are collaborating on a historical boutique hotel in Greenwich Village, The Post has learned.

The duo has signed a long-term lease for the former Marlton House at 3 W. 8th St. off Fifth Avenue, which has been a dorm for the last 25 years for The New School Parson’s students.

“It will be a Sean MacPherson hotel,” said Born of the nightlife creator with whom he has collaborated on three other projects. “It is a spectacular building and a spectacular location. We’re lucky to get it and it is lucky to have us.”

As the landmark district’s eight-story building is halfway between their Jane and Bowery hotels, Born said the renovation design will be in that “genre.”

“It’s screaming for a hotel that will fit in with Greenwich Village and NYU,” he said. While it will have a bar/restaurant, Born believes the hotel itself won’t be “terribly pricey.”

Built in 1900, the Marlton was a magnet for struggling Beat Generation writers, including Jack Kerouac, Gregory Corso and Neal Cassady as well as poet Edna St. Vincent Millay and actress Lillian Gish.
