Live Nation Entertainment, the concert promoter and ticket-seller, reported a wider first-quarter loss.

The loss of $69.2 million, or 37 cents a share, compares with a loss of $48.5 million, or 27 cents, a year ago, Live Nation said yesterday.

Revenue climbed 2.2 percent to $868 million, missing the $873.4 million estimate.

Live Nation climbed 1.2 percent to $8.31 yesterday.
