McDonald’s global gloss
Demand in Asia and the UK helped to offset a decline in the US as McDonald’s global sales rose a better-than-expected 2.6 percent for January. US same store sales fell 0.7 percent, but that category climbed 4.3 percent in Europe.
Shares rose 65 cents, or 1 percent, to $63.57.
