Media mogul Conrad Black has been granted bail and will be released from jail while an appeals court reviews his conviction, The Globe and Mail reported Monday.
Black’s attorney Miguel Estrada said Chicago judge Amy St. Eve will need to set the bail terms and that it is not clear when his client will be released. St. Eve was the same judge who presided over Black’s criminal trial for fraud in 2007.
