Thanks to Morgan Stanley’s $40 million investment, young fans at music concerts can bootleg instant video action to YouTube even before a tune is finished.

A tiny camcorder – complete with fingertip-editing capabilities – is going on sale tomorrow in the wild and wacky world of video-sharing.

The little spy-corder device, named Flip Video, is being billed as the first camcorder to upload directly to sites such as YouTube and Grouper – eliminating the step of putting video on a computer to edit before uploading. It is made by San Francisco-based Pure Digital Technologies.

The device – about the size of a cigarette pack – also does instant video-sharing between any PC or Mac and is equipped with zoom and editing features like stills.

One version that handles 30 minutes of video will retail for $119, and a 60-minute version will sell for $149.

They will be on sale at major retailers, including Target, Costco, BestBuy, CVS, RiteAid and Amazon.com.
