Former Qwest Communications chief Joseph Nacchio filed an emergency request that he be returned to his prison in Pennsylvania after appearing in federal court in Denver more than three weeks ago.

Nacchio, serving a six-year prison term for insider trading, appeared in Denver for a court hearing on May 4. He has been traveling with US marshals since then, a court filing said.
