Reader’s Digest Association CEO Mary Berner, who steered the company through a pre-packaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy, has been pushed out after four years and replaced by Chief Financial Officer Tom Williams.

The move follows a complete upheaval of the RDA board last Tuesday, in which all board members except Berner were replaced by new controlling stockholders.

Williams, who has been with RDA since 2009, will also gain a board seat.
