The New York Times Co. said Monday it is in “advanced discussions” to sell 16 regional newspapers, other print publications and related businesses to Halifax Media Holdings.
Among the papers on the block are the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, the Star-News in Wilmington, NC, and the Petaluma Argus-Courier.
