Ryan Braun has struck out against Nike.
The sporting-goods maker has severed its endorsement contract with the former National League MVP, suspended by Major League Baseball for the rest of the season for alleged drug violations, said a company spokesperson.
Braun didn’t contest the suspension. The deal was estimated to be worth $1.5 million to $2 million per year.
Wilkins said the company wouldn’t have any further comment on Braun.
