Nordstrom appears to have reached a deal to sell its Façonnable chain to a Lebanese private equity firm, The Post has learned.
News of the impending sale is said to have been delivered internally to Façonnable employees yesterday, along with the potential for some job cuts, these people continued.
Façonnable President Mark Brashear had expressed an interest in bidding for the company, which is expected to sell for about $200 million. Other suitors that had been eyeing Façonnable included the VF Corp. and Iconix.
A Nordstrom spokesman did not return calls seeking comment.
