Harpo daytime TV executive out — Discovery cable executive in.

Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network is drafting some cable talent to help spark ratings momentum.

Executive vice president for production and development, Lisa Erspamer, exited the talk show queen’s employ after a year.

Erspamer, who was previously co-executive producer of Oprah’s show, returned to Harpo, Winfrey’s production company, a few months ago and had been working on OWN’s Rosie O’Donnell talk show, which is struggling to find its footing.

Erspamer is being replaced by Discovery Fit and Health executive, Rita Mullin. OWN recently switched executive producers on O’Donnell’s show, which got off to a good start but has sunk since its launch. The prime time show attracted 321,000 viewers on launch in October but last week scored 150,000 total viewers.

Meanwhile, “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” is expanding from its Sunday slot to include a Monday show. Her interview with “American Idol” judge Steven Tyler scored 1.1 million viewers.
