DreamWorks Animation, maker of the “Kung Fu Panda” franchise, reported third-quarter profit fell 51 percent on shrinking DVD and box-office sales.

Net income dropped to $19.7 million, or 23 cents a share, from $39.8 million, or 47 cents, a year earlier. Sales fell 15 percent to $160.8 million.
