Billionaire Nelson Peltz called off the $400 million initial public offering for his corporate debt fund, illustrating the difficulties some money managers are having raising cash through public share sales. Trian Capital Corp. had filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission in May to sell shares through a public offering underwritten by Merrill Lynch & Co.
