The producer who called Relativity Media “a sham” only days ago has made peace with the bankrupt studio and re-committed himself to a joint project starring Gerard Butler.

In an about-face unusual even by Hollywood standards, producer Neal Moritz, of the “Fast and Furious” franchise, is returning to “Hunter Killer” — the same project he accused Relativity of relegating to “purgatory” in court documents on Nov. 5.

“I am sorry we had a miscommunication,” Moritz said in a statement on Thursday.

The producer also thanked Relativity founder and CEO Ryan Kavanaugh for “finding a solution that brings ‘Hunter Killer’ back to life.”

The statement, issued by Relativity, added that principal photography on the action thriller is expected to begin by early summer.

Millennium Films, another independent film company, has been brought on board to co-produce and co-finance the film, as well as distribute it overseas, according to the statement.

Separately, a judge denied Relativity’s request to extend the deadline to file a plan of reorganization.
