Wells Fargo shareholders needed police help to enter yesterday’s annual meeting in San Francisco as about 500 people gathered outside to protest the bank’s lending and foreclosures.
Shareholders ratified — by more than 96 percent — the bank’s 2011 executive compensation plan at a shareholder meeting that saw the ejection of more than a half dozen protesters.
