Ratings relief for JPM
JPMorgan Chase had its credit outlook raised to stable from negative by Standard & Poor’s as doubts about last year’s record trading loss eased.
The change was disclosed in a statement yesterday from S&P. JPMorgan ranks first by assets among its peers.
S&P said the bank “has successfully addressed our concerns regarding risk-management missteps in its chief investment office portfolio and that corrective actions should prevent additional issues from arising.”
