Dear John: I e-mailed you about two months ago and asked you not to publish my question of concern.

I just wanted to let you know the outcome of my son’s problem. He got hit by Hurricanes Eileen and Sandy to the tune of losing his first house and putting up for sale another one, all the time carrying loans and two mortgages on a policeman’s salary.

Well, maybe mama shouldn’t interfere, because he sold his house for $690,000, paid off the mortgages and now is seeking a new home with a decent down payment! God is good! I raised seven kids; three are NYPD, two teachers, one lawyer and a para legal.

Now on to buttin’ in on my 17 grandchildren (lol!) Thank you for your informative column. OU.

Dear O.U. Glad God could help even when you asked me not to. (He’s got better contacts than I do anyway.)

All those kids and grandkids are lucky to have someone who cares. All the best.
