Jamie Dimon paid for JPMorgan’s peace of mind.

The CEO said that JPMorgan decided that settling a whopping $13 billion lawsuit with regulators led by the Justice Department was better than going toe-to-toe with watchdogs in a protracted battle.

“Pay the price and try to move on,” Dimon told observers at a Goldman Sachs-sponsored finance conference on Wednesday.
