Martin Scorsese’s psychological thriller “Shutter Island” locked up the top box-office spot for a second straight weekend, with its $22.2 million boosting its 10-day total to $75.1 million, according to studio estimates.

The Bruce Willis-Tracy Morgan police comedy “Cop Out” opened in second place, with $18.6 million, and the horror flick “The Crazies” was third, with $16.5 million.

With a $14 million weekend, James Cameron’s “Avatar” became the first movie ever to top the $700 million mark domestically. The 20th Century Fox release is now at $2.5 billion worldwide.

“Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief,” took in $9.8 million to round out the weekend’s top five.
