Sky TV, the 21st Century Fox-backed pay-TV company, and Discovery Communications’ Eurosport will share rights to air live Bundesliga soccer matches in Germany, the companies announced on Thursday.
The deal is reported to be worth $5.2 billion, an 85 percent increase over the current rights.
The new four-year deal sees Eurosport picking up 40 live games per season starting in 2017.
