SkyBridge Capital, a New York firm that invests in new hedge funds, said it will make an investment in Outpoint Capital Management, a two-year-old hedge fund based in New York.
As part of the investment, the amount of which was not disclosed, SkyBridge will provide Outpoint a team of people to help build up Outpoint’s operation.
Outpoint was launched in May 2005 by Jordan Grayson.
Outpoint is the latest in a series of investments that SkyBridge has made in burgeoning hedge funds. Other funds include Westport Capital Partners, Brompton Cross Capital Advisers and Abdiel Capital.
