We hear Sony Corp. CEO Kaz Hirai is getting close to naming a new boss for his film company. Our tipsters say it is someone with digital experience, and not an insider, since Sony is working with an outside law firm and appears to be in finalizing contract talks.

Warner’s Kevin Tsujihara would certainly appear to fit the bill. Our tipsters say to expect some news in early May.
