Shipping magnate Paul Soros, the older brother of billionaire businessman George Soros, died yesterday at age 87 at his Manhattan home, according to reports.

Paul Soros had been suffering from several illnesses including cancer, diabetes and Parkinson’s disease, his son, Peter, told The AP.

He ran Soros Associates, a New York City-based global operator of port equipment.
