On the following day, a source who’s also a huge Yankees fan received this e-mail invitation from Stub Hub:

“Your Dream Seats are Waiting.

We noticed that New York Yankees Postseason tickets were on your radar, and wanted to give you a heads up that seats are still available.”

Our source’s comment: “Sure, there are plenty of choice seats — about 52,000 of them.”

There’s even a big convenient button at the bottom of the e-mail that A-Rod (who had two key strikeouts in the deciding game and batted a mighty .111 in the series) might want to check out.

It reads, “Buy Tickets.”
