Oracle CEO Larry Ellison and Google CEO Larry Page were ordered by a federal judge to attend a Sept. 19 settlement conference in the Oracle’s copyright- and patent-infringement lawsuit against Google.

US Magistrate Judge Paul Grewal in San Jose, Calif., issued the order after both sides agreed to attend settlement talks but said they would send other senior executives.
