A good cell phone charge is hard to come by when you’re out and about, but a growing number of retailers are offering kiosks that allow customers to charge their phones in a secure locker while they shop — and thus extend their browsing time and thwart comparison shopping.

Philadelphia-based ChargeItSpot has inked deals with retailers including Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and Under Armour. By June, the company expects to be in another 300 locations, founder and Chief Executive Douglas Baldasare told our Lisa Fickenscher.
