Time Warner is expected to announce today that it has tapped Digitas CEO Laura Lang to be the new boss of its Time Inc. division.

The announcement ends a nine-month search.

The previous chief executive, Jack Griffin, was ousted by Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes after only five months because he was said to have clashed with existing entrenched management in the division.
