Urban Outfitters CEO Glen Senk is leaving “to pursue another opportunity,” a move that shocked retail insiders and sent the shares down 15 percent in after-market trades.

Sources said Senk, who despite more than a year of lackluster results at Urban Outfitters is widely viewed as one of the industry’s best merchants, is expected to announce a new career move as soon as today.
